COUNCIL MEMBER MOSES OMONDI AND CEO, MR KENNETH MATIBA MEETING WITH KINETICS TO UNLOCK SYSTEM INEFFICIENCIES
The KISM CEO, Mr. Kenneth Matiba convened a working meeting on 3rd May 2024 on the system issues affecting the processing and issuance of member registration and licenses for KISM Members.
The objective of the meeting was to identify the system issues that had caused inordinate delays in the approval processes for member registration and licensed. It was part of the CEO’s efforts to ensure that all membership applications and licenses are processed by the Institute in the shortest time possible to ensure facilitation of our members. The meeting was attended by the Chair of the registration committee CM Moses Omondi, team of KISM Directorate of Membership & Registration and Kinetics the system developers.
It was noted during the discussion with the KISM team and system developers, that the Directorate of Registration & Licensing had identified and initiated proactive measures to rectify all deficiencies in the member registration system. This was towards KISM’s commitment to increase productivity and ensuring that the application review process was seamless. The team also identified the gaps in the system and proposed remedial action to mitigate the system delays.
The Chairperson of the Registration Committee of Council, CM Moses Omondi emphasized how critical it was to take immediate action to resolve the problems associated with member registration. He noted that this will ensure all KISM meets all the expectations of members & applicants. The KISM CEO Mr. Kenneth Matiba indicated that the Institute will endeavor to resolve the issue within the next 24 hours to respond to the urgency of the matter. This meeting was a collaborative effort between the KISM Management, KISM Board and Kinetics the system developer towards resolution of the delays and it provided an avenue for instilling hope and trust among the participants, since there was confidence voiced in the system’s future efficiency, fairness, transparency, and adaptability. This will ensure no delay encountered during the process of approval & issuing of membership cards, certificates and licenses to members.
