Kenya Institute of Supplies Management is a national body for professionals in the practice of procurement and supply chain management in Kenya. The Institute draws its mandate from the Supplies Practitioners Management Act No.17 of 2007 (the SPMA) to inter alia, register, license all supplies practitioners in Kenya and to regulate their practice.
A Notice is hereby issued for all Supplies Practitioners (Procurement and Supply Chain Management officers, procurement officers, warehousing/ stores officers, logistics officers and consultants) in the Republic of Kenya to immediately fully comply with sections 16, 17, 20
