The World Bank’s New Procurement Framework (NPF) which came into effect from 1 July 2016, introduces significant changes to the procurement procedures applicable to projects financed by the Bank. This training program is developed by the bank to equip participants with knowledge and techniques for initiating and managing procurement under the bank’s New Procurement Framework.
Senior, mid-level and other officials involved in implementation of projects funded directly or indirectly by the World Bank. Accounting Officers, Procurement and Supply Chain Management Staff, Members of Committees involved in procurement processing, Contract Implementation Teams, and User Department Staff involved in planning and managing procurement activities; Project Accountants and Finance personnel supporting procurement processes in donor funded projects.
