Chairperson Jeniffer Cirindi
This is a committee of the Council established pursuant to Section 1(1) of the First Schedule of the Act. Its function is to assist the Council in the professionalization of procurement practice in Kenya. The Committee is responsible for promoting capacity development in the procurement and supply chain management profession by developing policies and providing oversight in training and research. The committee essentially oversees the operations of the Training Department of the Institute and reports to the council on the same. The Committee, in consultation with the Chairman of the Council. The attendance schedule is provided in the financial statements. In the period January to December 2023, the committee was comprised of below:
