Elective posts

The Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) Council is partially elected in accordance with Regulation 12(1) of the Supplies Practitioners Management (Elections) Regulations of 2022.
The positions in the Council eligible for election are as follows:

Chairman of the Council (One Position)
a. Is registered as a Member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management under section 3A (2) (a &b) of the Supplies Practitioners Management Act.
b. Has paid the prescribed fee under section 3A (4) of the Act;
c. Holds a valid practicing license for the year 2022;
d. Has not been convicted of an election offence under section 22 of the Regulations; and
e. Meets the requirements of leadership and integrity set out under Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya.

Council Member (Six Positions)
a. Is registered as a Member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management under section 3A (2) (a &b) of the
Supplies Practitioners Management Act;
b. Has paid the prescribed fee under section 3A (4) of the Act;
c. Holds a valid practicing license for the year 2022;
d. Has not been convicted of an election offence under section 22 of the Regulations; and
e. Meets the requirements of leadership and integrity set out under Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya.
