Pomp and Color as CAS – Ministry of Treasury & Planning officially launches KISM Towers and Strategic Plan
KISM signed Memorandum of Understanding with Pamela Steele Associates (PSA) in a bid to establish a collaborative agreement with respect to strengthening and conducting joint research, training, and consultancy on health and humanitarian supply chain in Africa’s low and middle-income countries.
The KISM CPD program is a process of lifelong learning for Procurement and Supply Chain Management professionals. It is aimed at improving performance by systematically updating practioner’s knowledge and skills, and developing personal qualities necessary for execution of professional duties including acquisition of new roles and responsibilities.
The Institute is set to establish a Research and Consultancy Hub with the aim of facilitating Procurement and Supply Chain Management consulting services.
Ms. Linda Susan Ingari, a member of KISEB, has been appointed to Public Procurement Regulatory Board (PPRB) for a term of three (3 years) effective 15th November 2019 in accordance with section 3 of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015.
Dr. Paul Akida Jilani has been appointed to the Public Procurement Administrative Review Board (PPARB) for a term of three (3) years effective 12th November 2020 in accordance with section 29 of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015.
The KISM Council has fulfilled one of its election pledges with registration of a membership savings and credit co-operative society. In July 2020, Wanunuzi Sacco was formally registered, setting the stage for an improvement in members’ welfare by mobilising savings.
